- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and visitors entering restricted areas.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
- Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
