Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Execute the content calendar and creative briefs set by the Director of Marketing & PR, translating approved concepts into finished graphics, photography, and video.

  • Design graphics and layouts for social media, print collateral, digital signage, e-mail campaigns, and website assets, following Waldorf Astoria brand and marKIT standards.

  • Shoot and edit photography across the property — rooms, F&B, events, weddings, and guest experiences — for use in marketing, PR, and OTA channels.

  • Film and edit short-form and long-form video content, including reels, property films, and campaign videos, from filming through color grading and sound editing.

  • Coordinate and support on-property photo and video shoots, including scheduling, equipment set-up, and liaising with departments, talent, and vendors on shoot day.

  • Organize and maintain a well-labeled digital asset library of raw and finished photography, video footage, and design files for the marketing team.

  • Deliver quick-turnaround graphics, photos, and short clips for time-sensitive social media, PR, and operational needs.

  • Prepare exported files in the correct formats and specifications for print vendors, digital platforms, and OTA/social channels.

  • Ensure all graphics, photography, and video comply with Waldorf Astoria brand standards, image rights, and model/location release requirements.

  • Maintain camera, lighting, and audio equipment in good working order and flag replacement or repair needs to the Director of Marketing & PR.

ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCIAL

  • Track usage and condition of production equipment and software licenses, and support the Director of Marketing & PR with related purchase requests.

  • Maintain shot lists, model/location release forms, and a log of completed deliverables for each project.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and comfort with After Effects or similar motion graphics tools.

  • Hands-on skill operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, gimbals, and audio equipment for both photography and video shoots.

  • Working knowledge of the export formats and specifications required for social media, print, and OTA/website platforms.

  • Drone piloting experience/license is a plus.

  • Reliable and well-organized when managing multiple shoots, edits, and deadlines at once.

 

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATE

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Film/Video Production, or a related creative field preferred.

  • Relevant certifications in Adobe Creative Suite, videography, or photography are a plus.
