Medical Assistant - Ortho Experience - Deerfield Beach, FL

Pro Med Healthcare Services is currecntly search for an experienced Medical Assistant with expereince in an orthopedic Office front and Back. This is an amazing opportunity to join a new practice and be a part of the growth and development.

Pay Rate: $23.00 an Hour

Hours: Part time growing to Fulltime - 8AM to 4:00 PM

Location Deerfield Beach, FL

Requirements

Expectationed skills/tasks include:

Rooming patients

Taking & documenting chief complaint, history of present illness

Documenting updated meds, social history, etc

Assisting with flow of patients through office (into rooms, xray, etc)

Dressing removal/application (assisting physician and/or on own)

Suture removal (assisting physician and/or on own)

Assisting with injections (including preparing injections)

Returning phone calls, answering patient questions

Assisting with clerical, patient related paperwork

Experience in Insurance Verification and Prior authorizations

Experience in Orthopedic Surgery or other surgical specialties a PLUS

Credentials:

MA certification

Phlebotomy Certification

BLS
