Job Description
As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in BRANCHBURG, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. - Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report irregularities, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
