Position Description Financial Accounting Analyst Global Location Switzerland, Lausanne Hiring Manager email elodie.chapon@brp.com Recruiter email helene.schmitt@brp.com Apply Now As part of the Finance department of the European headquarters of a mid-cap manufacturing company, the Financial Accounting Analyst will have to perform a wide range of financial accounting & reporting, as well as internal control tasks for multiple legal entities across Europe. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:Perform monthly closing activities:Bank & inter-company reconciliationInventory controlling, analysis & reportingAccounts receivable analysis & reportingExecute and monitor internal controlsParticipate in the reporting of several European entitiesIFRS reporting in the consolidation systemStatutory financial statements in local GAAPsPrepare and/or review adjustments from IFRS to local GAAPsIncome tax returnVAT returnsSupport on internal and/or external auditsPrepare the required informationReview and answer auditors’ inquiries YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Confirmed accounting qualifications (HEC, HEG or federal diploma)2 to 5 years’ experience in an accounting or a finance departmentFluency in French and EnglishAdvanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of a ERP system specifically SAP is a plusKnowledge of IFRS is a real assetCollaborative mindset: team player, listening intently, open-minded to opinions and solutions, and communicating with transparencyGo-getter attitude: accountable and driven to make things happen, adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented, deliver with accuracy and impact, measure and learn to constantly improveDo you have other qualifications?
