Business Administration internship: improving processes in supplier operations

Introduction

ASML’s Supplier Operations department is responsible for structuring and improving complex supply chain processes to ensure operational excellence. Within this department, the Supplier Operations Excellence – Deployment team focuses on implementing standardized processes and driving change initiatives that enable scalability and efficiency. It plays a key role in embedding these processes into the organization by maintaining documentation, coordinating onboarding training, and supporting process deployments. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to these efforts, gain insights into strategic supply chain management, and work closely with stakeholders in a dynamic, global environment.
 

Your assignment

• Maintain the Supplier Operations document portal by uploading and reviewing work instructions

• Analyze progress on document updates and training completion

• Coordinate onboarding training for Supplier Operations colleagues

• Support deployment leads by preparing communication and training materials

• Perform data analysis to define scope and benefits of deployments

Your profile

• Are a Bachelor or Master student in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Have strong organizational and communication skills

• Are proactive, curious, and able to work independently

• Have experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel is a must)

• Enjoy working in a structured way and engaging with stakeholders

This is a bachelor and master internship for a minimum duration of 5-6 months, 4-5 days per week, with at least 3 days on-site in Veldhoven. The start of the internship is as of September 2026, but flexible.

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship;
• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement);
• You attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your application shows the willingness to relocate.
