Overnight Laundry Attendant
Overview
Parrot Key Hotel & Villas is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Overnight Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. In this overnight role, you will play an essential part in ensuring our hotel operates seamlessly by providing clean, fresh linens, towels, and other laundry items that contribute to an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, organizing, and distributing hotel linens while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient laundry facility. During overnight hours, you will also assist with monitoring the property by reporting safety concerns, conducting routine walkthroughs of designated areas, and responding appropriately to guest needs and emergencies. Your commitment to quality, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will help ensure our guestrooms, public areas, and overall property remain clean, secure, and ready to exceed guest expectations.
Qualifications
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or security experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate or learn commercial laundry equipment.
- Ability to recognize and appropriately report safety and security concerns.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, dependability, and strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
